The KIST school student internship program is a preliminary internship program for students willing to apply for the KIST School(UST) graduate programs (Master’s / Ph.D). The application process starts on 17 April 2026.
Only the students who are keeping their student status at their current universities during the internship period are eligible to apply for this program, since the applicants who have graduated from their universities are not considered student researchers.
The succesful candidates will need to be present at the KIST premises during the whole internship. Therefore, it is recommended to freeze their school terms.

KIST covers only the accommodation and daily expenses of the candidates. Candidates are expected to cover their own international travel expenses.
Application deadline: 5 May 2026
Internship period: 1 September 2026 – 28 February 2027
Applications must be made through the KIST School website. TÜBİTAK does not participate in the application process.
